From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Lee Mulligan has maintained audience suspense with deep backstory, a diverse cast of heroes, and a gripping narrative showcasing divine entities, evil spirits, and sinister influences increasing in power within the urban setting.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and introduced the first table of characters who will separate from the primary party to embark on their separate journey, distinct from the remaining groups.
The combat-focused team features Teor Pridesire (portrayed by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the fierce warrior (Whitney Moore), Wicander Halovar (the player), and the mysterious adventurer (the actor).
Why Split the Party?
With an extensive roster, it was evident from the outset that having everyone at a single group would be impossible.
This explains, the initial installments of the new season serve as an Introduction, connecting the individual narratives before dividing into three separate parties: Warriors, Schemers, and Explorers.
What Defines the Combat Party
According to Brennan Lee Mulligan, the Soldiers table is for adventurers who prefer a typically action-packed fight-heavy gameplay experience where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the reluctant priest the cleric might seem unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these particular heroes are best suited for the Soldiers table.
Why They Must Go
For one thing, the group knows exactly where to proceed after a brutal initial meeting with The Crow Keepers.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose death kicked off the narrative’s action—used the foes for his selfish purposes, entering Thjazi’s hideout, attacking the rogue, and swiping all the powerful objects to dispose of.
The traitor then settled his obligations and ran away to a fortified location in Gormalay, Timmony, beyond the city, with Teor’s brother pursuing him.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each member has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and closest confidant, wants vengeance.
- The adventurer is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a dangerous place.
- The strong character and The healer, having defied his relatives’ demands to eliminate Teor and instead saved him, have nowhere else to go.
- Yet, their status as important members in House Halovar could enable the party enter locations they typically wouldn’t be able to.
- Furthermore, Teor pledged a unbreakable promise to Wicander for his salvation and will now accompany him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Lastly, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule Dol-Makjar for a variety of reasons, making lingering locally dangerous:
- Thimble and Kattigan are recognized lawbreakers.
- Tyranny and The cleric betrayed House Halovar and the army of fiends they are partnered with.
- Teor is marked for death by House Halovar.
This results in them no alternative but to head to the remote area in search of the antagonist.
